\nDECLARATION
\nSecond meeting the FIRE FIGHTERS UNION Visegrad 4 countries, held on 20
\nand 22 September 2012 in Bojnice with Firefighters unions – Czech Republic,
\nHungary, Poland and Slovakia. As guests attended, Deputy EPSU and leaders Fire
\nand Rescue Service in Slovakia.
\nFirefighters union the Visegrad 4: Union Firefighters Union Czech Republic,

\nSekcja Pozarnictwa NSZZ "Solidarno\u015b\u0107" \u2013 Firefighters Union Poland, Firefighters
\nUnion Slovakia, discussed various aspects of social systems, fire and rescue corps
\nmember countries V4 Particular attention to the impact of the economic crisis on the
\nfire and rescue brigades and their social system and their own funding.
\nDuring the negotiations confirmed the persistent discrepancy between available
\nfinancial resources and the roles of fire and rescueteams to perform. This has
\na negative impact on the provision of basic fire and rescue task forces and also for
\ntheir social security.
\nAll participants in the meeting Bojnice unanimously declared that the interior
\nministers of the Visegrad 4 countries should pay more attention to the continuous
\nreduction of operating costs and firerescue teams, because this reduction threatens
\ntheir functionality, resulting in a threat to publicsafety.
\nDuty members of the National Councilis to adopt such laws to ensure full functionality
\nof the fireservice relating to the constitution alright of the citizens to get quick and
\nimmediate assistance.
\nFirefighters unions the Visegrad 4 are aware of the consequences of the economic
\ncrisis and its impact on the individual Member States. Promote effective measures
\nhis Ministry of Interior to mitigate its impact on fire and rescue brigades.
\nFirefighters unions the Visegrad 4 have agreed to submit the following
\nrecommendations to the Ministries of the Interior of the participating States and
\nParliamentarians:
\n1. Continue the development of social dialogue within Firefighters unions on
\nsocial security firefighters Member States, parliamentarians and prevention of
\ntheir decisions without proper consultation, investigation and possible
\nconfrontation.<\/p>\n
2. Take steps to increase social assessment affecting firefighters with respect to
\ntheir specific role in the company and for other future changes to take into
\naccount the parameters of the Member States of the EU and not let handicaps
\nthat would affect the responsiveness of churches.
\n3. In social security, respecting the principle of compensation limits the
\nperformance impact of fireservice (e.g. prohibition of strikes \u2026)
\n4. The next meeting of Firefighters unions the Visegrad 4 will be held under the
\nchairmanship of the Czech Republic

\nfor EPSU.
